Romney endorses McInsane??
Take that Romney supporters.
You know, I thought there was no way on earth this was going to happen. Really. I thought Romnoid was playing politics with his “suspension” and going to hold off ’til the convention and flex some muscle to get what he wanted from Johnny Mac.
That leaves the Romniac delegates in a quandary.
I know alot of his support comes from fellow LDS church members and the only man in the race that is at all for the values they espouse is the man Romney repeatedly laughed at, Ron Paul.
How weird is that?
And consider how Romniac was always trying out-McCain McCain.
You want Gitmo?? Well, I want two Gitmo’s.
You know, the ever preminicient Ron Paul said, “You never know what can happen…”
Now maybe we can pick up some of McRomney’s delegates…..yeah, and pigs might fly.

Anyone that’s read this blog, knows that I have been a Ron Paul supporter for almost thirty years. We met at my mom’s beach house in Surfside, TX back in ‘78 or ‘79 I don’t recall exactly, but I’ve always been impressed with his resolve and commitment to principle.
He’s been my write in candidate for the last six elections and I really felt this was the time. But sadly, he has all but dropped out of the race.
I actually wish he would, it’s too debilitating to endure this charade any longer.
If you recall, I said in an earlier post that it appeared as though he didn’t really intend to win this election from the get go.Read it Here.
And I felt betrayed back then, so much so that I resigned from my local meetup group and stood on the sidelines trying to determine if anymore effort and money were warranted on this campaign.
I mean, why should I invest in a half-hearted campaign?
Well, obviously, I wasn’t alone. The money bombs fizzled.
Turns out that a lot of Ron Paul supporters that question the official government account of the 9/11 tragedy also felt betrayed when Ron Paul emphatically distanced himself from those of us that contend there is much to question there.
And the donations continue to dry up.
A couple of days ago, I got the infamous “Message from Ron” quoting of all people the Bolshevik Marxist Leon Trotsky. I kid you not. I couldn’t believe this letter.
Basically conceding that he hasn’t got a snowball’s chance in hell of winning and so now he’s going to concentrate on his congressional seat, because god knows it’s essential to have that seat. It’s been the bastian of freedom and liberty. Not that it’s done any good.
Okay that was cynical.
But what do you expect. This campaign staff has claimed time and again that there was a strategy to win and all the Paultards (these are supporters that believe Ron Paul is ordained by god to be king) anyway, these Paultards spew their “Ron Paul knows what he’s doing” or “He knows how to win an election” vomit and we questioners were flamed into silence.
Well, as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And this pudding sucks.
Well, in this letter he also put to rest, what I thought was the only viable option to getting elected, a third party run. Instead, he chose to remain loyal to the party at the expense of the election.
I read a great article today by Jeff Rense called Ron Paul’s Goodbye. Read it, I think you’ll like it. An excerpt from that article:
Ron announced.”I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican”and will not leave the party to run as an independent. (A Paul-Kucinich ticket would have at least been FUN).
WHAT Republican party?? That was a lamentable statement to read. Ron must be thinking it is still the Republican Party of the 19th century.
The Republican ‘party’ NOW stands for the BIG LIE, it stands for CRIME and DEATH, for GENOCIDE and PERVERSION, for TAXATION and GRAFT, for the FED and FINANCIAL RAPE, for DOMESTIC SPYING and the PATRIOT ACT, …it stands for the end of LIBERTY and of our CONSTITUTION. Above all, it now stands for Zionism and WAR.
My sentiments exactly. Well, I am ending my presidential election tradition of writing in Ron Paul, because I see now that he is a party loyalist and not the man I created in my mind.
Goodbye Ron Paul and good luck with that congress thing.

Well, the Ron Paul campaign pulled off another stunning upset. Mine, I mean. They managed to upset me again.
It’d be funny if it weren’t so sad.
Iowa, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Michigan, and Montana all promised good showings, but it was not to be. And at every loss, we get pointed to the next bend.
Be honest, if the point of this campaign was to get the message out, then quit pointing to the next primary or caucus, and we’ll all go back to our lives.
It’s nice to see quotes of Thomas Paine on the Ron Paul blog, but
the truth is we aren’t fighting a revolution, we’re playing revolution.
It’s a mind game. We’re stuck in the Ron Paul Matrix.
Oh sure there’s plenty of people out on the streets, but we’re fighting the wrong opponents and have a crazy idea that people are gonna quit and leave their support to us. Give me a break, the GOP hates us, the other candidates hate us. Anybody that quits is going to throw their support behind the party pick.
Look folks, that’s not rocket science, or as new friend said “rocket surgery”.
Our only chance is that John McInsane wins the GOP and we run third party.
Plenty of cheerleaders have already picked up the “summer soldier/sunshine patriot” cheer and are driving a deeper wedge into the camp.
I’m sorry, but I’m pretty tired of all the rah rah, it’s only half done, support the plan, were in this for the long haul stuff. There’s no way in hell the GOP is going to let Dr. Paul garner enough support to win and this brokered convention hype is just another pipe dream.
Look folks, people don’t care. You’ve not been in my world long enough to see this?
I’m afraid we just don’t have the time to wait for calamity to strike and then people will wake up to the truth. I just don’t believe they will. And even if they do, it’ll be too late. It’ll be alot more like Valley Forge than they imagine.
Look at 9/11, we rallied as a nation, and look where that got us in the liberty department. When the fan is struck by that smelly stuff, people aren’t going to rally around freedom, they’re going to be the sheep we’ve seen thus far in this election and follow the status quo.
Another thing, if Americans are so anti-war as is reported, how is that the only one anti-war candidate on the ballot can’t manage 7% of the votes? The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
So before all the hate pours down upon me and summer soldier accusations fly, my first vote ever cast for President was in 1976 for Eugene McCarthy and after Reagan went crazy I’ve voted for Ron Paul since 1984.
So face it, I am used to not winning an election and guarantee I’ve been in this fight longer than you.
But I will cast my vote from my heart and will write in Ron Paul this year also.
I just wish the fallacy of changing the GOP was abandoned when they first rigged the playing field.
I am not afraid of losing, I just wanted victory to be the plan.
Sorry for the rambling post, my heart is heavy and I’m tired of all the hoopla.
